Atlantic Copper Spillway Bowl Project Bundles

Atlantic Copper Spillway Bowl Project Bundles feature a 26" Square or Round solid copper bowl with a thin protective finish. Each bowl has a 12" wide spillway with a warm traditional look that will mellow over time as a natural patina develops. Atlantic Copper Spillway Fountain Bowls produce a vertical water sheer with little projection. The spillway lip should protrude at least 4” over the catch basin. Atlantic Copper Bowls are paired with a 4'W x 2'D x 16"H 28 mil PVC Flexible Basin available in your choice of black, grey, or tan colors to accommodate various architectural styles. Atlantic Copper Spillway Bowl Project Bundles are installed directly into 4' x 8" x 12" stone enclosures. They are shown at 22" above water level. Still, these bundles adapt to various engineered stone sizes and accommodate varying heights. Project Bundles are an assembly of necessary equipment (including pump, plumbing, and glue) to simplify installation and add a water feature to a new or existing hardscape with various water sources in both standalone and cascading applications.

Basic Steps • Prepare the base and the wall for the spillway. • Place preformed flexible basin, flexible liner and bulkhead fitting. • Continue to build wall and cap the columns. • Fill with water, check all connections. • Complete plumbing and install the Copper Bowl. • Plug in water feature and enjoy! Maintenance Keep Water Clean: with no organics in the water maintenance will be a breeze, just net out any leaves or clippings on a regular basis and use our water feature cleaner to keep the water clean and fresh. If organic issues do arise can install a Triton Ionizer to the plumbing behind the wall to keep organics at bay. Spillway Bowl Maintenance: Atlantic Copper Bowls are treated with a light lacquer coating to maintain their copper sheen until installation but will develop a natural patina when in use. The patina needs no maintenance. If you would like to maintain the original appearance over time, periodic cleaning/polishing with a non-abrasive copper cleaner will be required. Winterization Atlantic 26" Copper Spillway Bowls are self-draining for easy winterization in cold climates. Turn off the pump and remove the standpipe. Remove the pump and store it indoors for the winter. Ensure that the supply line is fully drained and plug the opening so water will not refill the plumbing. The small amount of water left will not affect the bowl and may freeze in place. Remove the plug or Cord Seal Fitting (if utilized) in the other inlet so that the bowl will be able to drain. Winterize your Basin in accordance with best practices.
